Right to withdraw from the contract
Last update: March 2026
1. Legal Framework
In accordance with Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of November 16, which approves the revised text of the General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users, clients who enter into contracts remotely (via the internet, telephone, or other electronic means) have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days without providing a reason and without any penalties.
2. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
According to Article 103 of the aforementioned law, there are exceptions where the right of withdrawal does not apply. Specifically, this concerns:
“The provision of services, once the service has been fully performed or when its performance has already begun with the consumer’s prior express consent and with their acknowledgment that they are aware of the loss of the right of withdrawal once the contract has been fully performed by the entrepreneur.”
— Article 103, point a), Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007
3. Application within the INTERPOLYS Service
When making a booking on the INTERPOLYS platform and paying the non-refundable fee, you express your explicit consent to the immediate commencement of the provision of services. From the moment the payment is received, INTERPOLYS immediately initiates the following actions:
-
Processing and validation of your booking.
-
Initial assessment of your case by an expert group.
-
Sending the pre-examination questionnaire via email and SMS.
-
Assignment of an accredited expert (APA, BPS, EPA) to manage your case.
-
Reservation of a professional office in the selected location (Madrid or other cities in Spain).
-
Logistical coordination of the date, time, and place of the test.
Since the execution of the contract begins immediately after payment confirmation and with your explicit consent, you are informed that in this case, the standard 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply.
4. User Confirmation
By completing the booking process with INTERPOLYS, you confirm and accept the following:
-
You request the immediate start of the provision of services without waiting for the end of the 14-day withdrawal period.
-
You realize that by requesting the immediate start of work, you lose the right of withdrawal from the moment the actual provision of services begins.
-
You have been properly informed of this circumstance before completing the booking payment.
5. Cases in which Refunds are Possible
Despite the exclusion of the right of withdrawal, there are situations in which a refund (full or partial) is guaranteed:
| Situation | Refund Type |
| Expert determines the case is unsuitable for testing (medical or other reasons) | Full refund of the fee |
| Cancellation due to INTERPOLYS fault (technical failure or expert unavailability) | Offer of a new date or full refund |
| Force majeure circumstances making the service impossible | Full refund of all amounts paid |
